Rainforest Cafe is mostly known for its ambience and catered to kids 4-8. Kids younger may be frightened by the animals moving or noises. Older kids may find the animatronics not be as realistic. The kids menu had some choices with drinks costing extra. The adult menu had a variety of choices but was on the pricey side. Reservations are definitely a MUST otherwise expect to wait at least 30-45 minutes.

They certainly need some front house management improvement. The hosts were completely overwhelmed with reservations. It was very unorganized and chaotic. Our server, Matthew, was wonderful. Was a very poor start to the experience, which made the rest tough to enjoy.

The kids loved the experience. Food was good. The check in process was a little unorganized and the bathrooms need some attention. Our waitress, whose name I forget, was amazing and went out of her way to provide us with great service.

Server was very friendly but had NO clue what she was doing. Brought a closed bottle of wine to the table (twice) and just left it, did not really know the menu and needed some training. Hard to spend this much money and not feel served. Would not refer, other than saying the atmosphere is entertaining for young kids or go back.

Joey was a great server. Very enthusiastic and gave good food and drink suggestions. Unfortunately they took him from our table early. The replacement didn't introduce herself. Our order came out wrong. Luckily the manager didn't charge us for the wrong order

Service was really slow both nights we were there. This was where my daughter picked to eat for her 10th birthday. We spent the weekend at Niagara and she wanted to eat here both nights. Servers were friendly but service was really slow. It was also really disheartening for her to see other servers doing special things at tables for birthday kids like one had the whole table and surrounding tables sing, another gave a free ice cream, and another had the whole restaurant shout happy birthday, and our servers did not do anything for her.

The interactive animals do not work other than the elephants, which go off every 15 mins and its so loud and crackly sounding. Last time we visited a few years ago more of the animals were animated and there was a lot to look around and see. The kids meals are poor quality and very small portions. We waited over 1 hour for two kids meals and 2 taco salads to come out. The only plus was that the taco salads were a good size and tasted good. Overall not worth the very expensive bill when the overall experience is just not there.

We made a reservation for 6:45, waited 10 minutes for our table only to find that there were many open tables inside. Our server greeted us and at first was friendly however this took a turn. On our reservation notes we indicated that we were celebrating two children’s birthdays. Kailynne the server told us that the ice cream sandwich would be complimentary. The entire time we were there we saw 15 birthdays being celebrated and cheered for by the staff with sparklers and an mini announcement. Our food came and it took us 5 minutes to flag someone down and get cutlery and once we were finished it took Kailynne 30 minutes to revisit our table. The table to the left of us was being checked on by the bartender every 10 minutes and had great service. Because of the long wait times the kids were getting tired so we asked if we could get their desserts. She came back and the ice cream sandwiches were in packages and she didn’t acknowledge or announce their birthdays even after we watched everyone around us being celebrated. I informed her and she said that, the best she could do was bring a sparkler. And we just wanted our daughter to feel the slightest bit special. She did absolutely nothing for us and my daughter went home crying that night. TERRIBLE SERVICE, the entire dining experience took from 6:45-8:30. Would not recommend!
