From beginning to end, dinner was delicious. We chose to start with oysters, of course! Raw for hubby and roasted for me. Both were a fabulous beginning to our meal. We both ordered the pan-seared fish special. Oh my word-perfectly cooked and so very flavorful. Our server was very aware of our need to finish before the start of the opera. We were not rushed at all, and didn’t have to worry about on time arrival. She was great and perfectly attentive.

Hangar steaks are tough to judge before order but took the leap and never turned back. When asked how I would like it cooked I replied, “as the chef decides is best”. Chefs decision hit the mark. Steak and entire dish prep was perfect.

The food was good, and the service was excellent. But it was pricey for what we received. $38 for a scallop entree with 3 scallops. $24 a pour for Woodford Reserve. Not sure we can return at those kind of NYC prices.

The food was outstanding! We had the greatest oysters that were delicious. Our entrees were the grilled branzino and the fresh catch of the day which was swordfish….both perfectly cooked and presented with amazing side dishes.

Have been a few times, enjoy it each time . Great oysters and the seasonal dishes never disappoint. The portion sizes lean on the smaller side but are always packed with flavor. Our waitress was great and only touched the table when needed without lingering. It’s a must try if you’re in Richmond.

Disappointed that we were seated in back of the restaurant. Overhead light was out. Food was just ok. Very loud. Almost couldn’t hear ourselves talk.

The oysters and shrimp cocktail were absolutely delicious. My partner got the grilled Branzino and kept raving about how good it was the rest of the weekend. I got the scallops and they were perfect. Drinks were delicious and service was great! Plus, as someone who is celiac, they seemed knowledgable and helped me navigate the menu (lots of options!).
