If the words 'vegetarian' and 'banquet' have never appeared in one sentence for you, then you haven't yet tried Rasa W1. The menu features only authentic cuisine from Kerala on India's spice-rich Malabar Coast, served on a huge, fresh banana leaf. If you have the adventurous spirit, try the Kerala Feast, an exquisite mix of flavours and textures from across the menu - the chefs are happy to include any dishes that you fancy. A favourite from the a la carte menu is moru kachiathu, sweet mangos and green bananas cooked in yoghurt with green chillies, ginger, and fresh curry leaves. The pickles and chutneys alone are almost worth the trip. Shortish, wide-ranging wine list. Plush surroundings and welcoming service add to the pleasures of the meal.

Rasa always has amazing food that is full of flavour - with the best parathas in town. A perfect place to take guests or to just meet up with friends. One of my favourite restaurants.

When I first ate at the vegetarian Rasa years ago, and then at the fish Rasa more recently, they were revelations... a South Indian cuisine that did interesting things with unfamiliar ingredients. This Rasa, on the other hand, is not especially regional or especially original. Where are the vegetables: the okra, the aubergine, the greens? Why do we have boneless white meat chicken (ie the dry, tasteless part), tough lamb, and so on (though the fish wasn't bad). And why can't they offer a decent selection of lagers?

Yummy Keralan cuisine. Plenty of vegetarian options. Basic decor but this doesn’t matter as the food is excellent!

I enjoyed the food at Rasa W1, but the service was very poor - our food came hours late, with no explanation as to why or any attention paid to us in the interim.

All my friends had a wonderful lunch experience. Thoroughly recommend other family and friends to try out this awesome restaurant. Food was really delicious. Service was fast and efficient.

Went with a friend visiting and it was great we could hear each other. We enjoyed our meal and the service was friendly and attentive. Would love to be more adventurous with the menu next time!
