Whether you are looking to savor the majestic desert mountain views or enjoy an excellent glass of wine or frosty beer, Raven's View, the new destination wine and beer pub in Tonto Hills, is sure to please the senses.

Ravens View has an extensive wine selection, encompassing a second-growth Bordeaux, choices from around the world and a wide variety of domestic wines. Not to be outdone, there are 16 different beers on the menu, ranging from the usual suspects to craft beers from Arizona, Oregon and California.

Cooling breezes keep the temperature 10 to 15 degrees lower than the valley floor. A dog friendly patio rounds out the pubs amenities.

We just wanted to know what we ate….. Waitress knew nothing about the food. I asked could you ask the chef and she said no. “They change the food all the time”. So we never found out what we ate. Weird experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

Every staff member is engaged and is very kind. The food was outstanding. Nice special options. Beautiful outdoor seating. It is so far in the country that it is dark enough to see the stars. Sunset there has to be amazing. Will definitely go back during that time to see.

We were referred to Raven’s View by friends and made a reservation (a must!) for 4:45pm so that we could enjoy the early winter sunset and secure an outside table. Food was EXCEPTIONAL and the charcuterie board is a definite winner. The main course meatballs and ahi poke bowls were both significant portions, well presented and very tasty. Our server wasn’t the most attentive and we had some issues with our order, but the manager (Jordan) came to our table and made everything right. She’s an exceptional asset for the restaurant, and her problem solving ensured that we will visit Raven’s View again. They advertise that they are dog friendly and we noted a number of four-legged friends on the patio. Owners did a great job managing their animals, and it contributed to a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

My guest was impressed. I felt a little different about it Ordered the bowl with ahi tuna and the olive temperate with crostini. I would probably order neither next time.
