   The customer service, food and environment was excellent. This is the best American bbq I have had in england full stop! Portions are large including the drinks. I had the USS Orgean platter and it did not disappoint. I am definitely going back because not only was the platter amazing the burgers look it too.

   Completely disappointed with our meal last night. We chose to come here for our first date night without kids in a while because we’d heard good things. Well, we definitely won’t be returning. On arrival we were told there was no chicken… AT ALL. This restricted my choices as I do like a chicken burger. So we ordered a burger at £14.50 and a plate at £24.50 expecting a normal sized portion (being Texan BBQ). How wrong we were. My husband’s meal was basically a child’s portion, with 2 small pieces of brisket, a small pork shoulder and a hot dog sausage, with a small teaspoon of coleslaw, 2 bits of pickle and a slice of dry, slightly toasted bread (which was clearly bought from the pound shop). My burger came on a child’s plate with 2 pieces of pickle. No sides, nothing. Not even a bit of coleslaw! We asked if it came with fries, the server said “let me check”. He returned with a small portion of fries, which was added to our bill without our knowledge at £5.50! So 3 drinks (2 of which were flat beers) 2 small meals and fries cost £70!! I usually go by the moto, you pay for what you get but in this instance, we did not. We absolutely love Hickory’s, and was hoping this would compete but unfortunately it did not. Don’t waste your hard earned money.

   Table of 4 ordered 2 of sharing platters. We had the ny platter and was more than enough. Everything was cooked perfectly and hot. The server was attentive without being over bearing. The puddings looked incredible but we were all too stuffed to attempt. Definitely coming back again, but will have to fast 48hrs before to even get close to finishing everything.

   Really nice flavours, good menu, service was great and friendly but £65 for two burgers and some chips I felt was far too much I’m afraid.

   Unfortunately no margaritas were available as they had no lime juice, and were also out of Mac n cheese which were both things we wanted to order. Menu was a little pricey as you buy sides separately, however, food was amazing when it arrived and was definitely worth the money! Staff were friendly and easy to get a table. Will be going again.

   Lovely restaurant, with really good food and nice drinks. For my British sensibilities the servers were a bit too helpful, but I think that’s just the way the American style service. Food was awesome, we ended up taking some home as it was soo much.

    My son turns 16th on 30th sept and as a birthday treat he decided to go to Red dog. I booked the table directly and even outlined it was for his birthday and I was extremely disappointed that he didn’t even receive a Happy birthday cookie/cake. The total bill was near £200 for 5 people, with a service charge! Unlike other places I.e Frankie and Bennies and Hickory’s who would have made a fuss. Food was ok and filling however wouldn’t be going back for a special occasion
