   We recently had the pleasure of dining at the Red Lobster in Lakewood, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, setting the perfect evening tone. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, which I truly appreciated. Now, let's talk about the food! We started with the iconic Cheddar Bay Biscuits, and as always, they were a highlight! Warm, flaky, and bursting with cheesy goodness, they set the stage for what was to come. For my entree, I chose the Lobster Linguini, and it was divine. The lobster was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, and the creamy garlic sauce complemented it beautifully. My table ordered the Grilled Lobster and Shrimp, which also received rave reviews. The portions were generous, and every bite was a delight. To top off the meal, we indulged in a slice of their lemon cheesecake, which was the perfect sweet ending. The ambiance was relaxed yet vibrant, with lovely nautical decor that enhanced the dining experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which added to the positive vibe. Overall, my visit to Red Lobster Lakewood was exceptional, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Whether you’re a seafood lover or just looking for a cozy place to enjoy a delicious meal, this location certainly delivers. I can’t wait to come back for more delectable dishes and that irresistible atmosphere!

   On a Sunday evening at 5:00 PM, the place wasn’t exactly wall to wall with customers, but it was moderately busy. I’d been to this place 100 times and never left a yelp before about it. The food was ok. The prices were ok. What prompted me to leave a comment was the service. We had reservations, and were seated relatively quick enough. But once seated, we had to wait at least 45 minutes for our orders to be taken. By the time our food came, I had noticed the table across from us, who actually were there before us, still hadn’t even received their drinks. At the end of the meal, I still ponied up 20%, and I hate to be that guy, but in this day and age of “living wages” and tips of 20-30%, I felt obliged to voice my disappointment at the amount of time we had to wait. I’m not gonna go Karen and “call the manager” or ask for a discount. I’m just gonna finish and come give a review. Like there’s a long wait…and then there’s an unnaturally and excruciatingly long wait. That’s what this was. And it’s not always like that but I’m just sayin, this was really unacceptable. Thats it. It’s a good place, value is good, food is good and it’s clean. But this should never happen.

   I appreciate the changes they need to make to keep the chain alive. A more streamlined menu, but the same great food. Highly recommended

   I love this place. The food is always good, and the staff is always friendly. The steak and lobster for $28 you cant go wrong.

   The service was good once we asked for it. We had to wait for their computers to work in order to pay for our bill. The food wasn't what we remember Red Lobster for. Overall, we might come back when I crave the Lobster Linguini. That was probably the only dish we truly enjoyed.

   I know you can’t make reservations but I did select priority seating waitlist. I still had to wait over an hour. They did not have enough servers. The server we did have, Mark, was doing his best but we ended up spending 4 hours there. I wouldn’t go on a weekend with a party of 6 people again.
