   There is nothing Greek about this restaurant, even the salad dressing was Italian. Wife had a chicken kabob but no holes in the chicken when served off the stick so not a kabob just grilled chicken with no Greek flavoring. I had a chicken breast cubed in a tomato sauce, didn’t remind me of all my trips to Greece. Don’t get me wrong the food was edible and I have had a lot worse but I can’t recommend this place at all as a Greek or even Mediterranean restaurant

   Amazing authentic Greek food PLUS their dinner entrees such as chicken and fish of the day were incredible— best meal we have had yet in the Destin area and extremely well priced.. we are going back again this weekend!

   Red Onion is so quaint & charming. The food is truly authentic Mediterranean cuisine and absolutely delicious. This is a perfect place to escape the hustle & bustle of a heavily touristy area while supporting a small, local restaurant. Great date spot also!

   This is our second time visiting this amazing Mediterranean food restaurant. We went there with friends tonite. We all loved the food and atmosphere and the waitress was so kind , friendly and did a great job with our table. The gyro platter, the hamburger beast , fillet mignon salad dish was awesome. I had the Tasso platter and was delicious. We will be back with friends and family soon. Thank u

    Exceptional service by Darla! Place was busy and full but she hustled and gave great friendly service! Food was excellent, hot, great! quality and quantity, tantalize your taste buds. Got lamb chops fabulous, gyros platter, chicken tava. Don't pass up this gem!
