   Food was so pre frozen. Nothing fresh. When you read sign hotnoods. You assume fresh noodle etc. dumplings tasted pre frozen. Tasted like something i buy from the grocery’s stores. Spring roll tasted like pandas spring roll. Vegetable tempura was like eating a brillo pad hard and burnt. Shrimp tempura is the little frozen skinny shrimps from market. Just loose money👎

   We go here for every birthday and anniversary, have for over 30 years. Food is always excellent, as is the service and ambiance. Would highly recommend.

   Donna our waitress was really informative of the menu and answered all our questions. Ariana our servers for our drinks was super nice. The food was outstanding.

   With reservation, checking in was excellent and on time. Wait staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Food was very good and to our expectations.

   Our server, Jesus and tfw bus persons, Maria, Heidi and Antonia made our dinner very special being very attentive, friendly and personable. Our steaks were excellent along with the baked potato, asparagus and dessert! A great Valentine’s Day dinner!

    A very hidden gem. Yula was our server, you want his section if you go! Best. Service. Ever!! Attentive but not hovering. Friendly and engaging but not intrusive. Knew the menu like the back of his hand! We are Las Vegas locals, on a mission to try new places. Ended up with a reservation here on Valentine’s Day because Redwood was one of the few places that wasn’t fully booked and wasn’t going to be a $500 meal. Never had we stepped foot in the California Hotel casino or this restaurant. We’ve both been here a long time and never gone. Pleasantly surprised that the noise level the cleanliness and all around everything about this place. Valet was $30 but as an emerald card holder with Boyd gaming it was free for us.  I had the seafood cioppino and my husband had the 12 ounce lobster tail. Market price on that was like $65 and my soup was 46 I think. It was loaded with seafood, and I had no regrets about spending that kind of price on a bowl of soup. It was really good. Our reservation was for 7:15 PM on Valentine’s Day and we were seated immediately. We did not have to wait a long time for our food. I have heard it said that you can judge a steakhouse by their creamed corn. I, personally hate creamed corn, and I was literally scraping Every last bite of it out of the dish came in. Hands-down, I recommend it and we will definitely go back.
