I have not been to Restaurant 1915 since February of 2020 for brunch. The brunch used to be larger with nicer food options and include alcholic beverages. The food was generic and served in the main room. Drinks are seperate. Bill came to $106.00 for two people and $126.00 with the tip. Not worth it for the caliber of food or service. As for teh service we finished our first plates and we had to flag down wait staff to order drinks ( 1 diet coke and a coffee) and to get water to the table, no one came to us we had to go to them. The drinks came as we were finishing our second plate as well as water. Had to flag the staff down to get the check and then no one came to get the check so walked it up to the reception area. Plenty of staff however they were just talking amonst themselves. Nice to spend a day at Bear Mountain. Would not retun for this watered down version of brunch. Bring back the old version and for the price add back in the complimentary drinks.

The food was really delicious! Everything was great as expected but the food was over the top, especially for a buffet.

Excellent place to experience a friendly professionally trained staff, efficient and discrete, combine to all you can imagine pleasing your palette for a brunch with a stunning surrounding. Thank you the Bear Mountain Inn and the 1915 restaurant, I spent a very relaxing weekend

A Disastrous Dining Experience – Avoid at All Costs If I could give 1915 and Blue Roof Tapas Bar - Bear Mountain zero stars, I would. I went in expecting a quality meal, considering the price, but what I got was an absolute train wreck. I ordered a black & blue filet, expecting it to be seared on the outside and rare on the inside. What arrived? A medium-cooked steak with only the center cut remotely rare. At $55, I expected much better. If they can’t cook a steak to temperature, they shouldn’t be serving steak at all. Then came the sides—or rather, the side that never arrived. I ordered fresh-cut fries, but instead, I was given cold, mushy onion rings. When I pointed it out, I was told that onion rings are a “garnish.” Who in their right mind uses onion rings as a garnish? To make matters worse, the server informed me they cook them earlier in the day and just throw them on plates later. Excuse me? Pre-cooked, limp onion rings as a side (sorry, garnish)? In all my 55 years, I’ve never heard of such ridiculousness. I foolishly decided to give dessert a shot since they claimed to have an in-house bakery. What a joke. I ordered the cookies and brownies platter to go, and what I got was a miserable excuse for “freshly baked” goods. The brownies were cold, mushy, and tasted like they came straight out of a box of Little Debbie snacks. Not to mention, the ratio was completely off—10 brownies to 3 cookies. Who thought that was a good idea? Oh, and those cookies? Soggy, defrosted, and utterly disappointing. From start to finish, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Overpriced, poorly executed food, and an overall lack of care in the kitchen. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else.

Beautiful venue! Filet, roasted chicken were all too-notch! Lucky to have gotten the last piece of salmon - so that’s one negative, as they were out of a number of selections. Service started off slow, but ended up very well. Will definitely return when we’re in the area again!
