   I decided to get the 3 course combo platter. The the chicken, brisket "cubes" and ribs were bland and dry. The restaurant was pretty much empty on a Saturday night and now I know why we were able to get a reservation. I believe with more attention to detail, this restaurant can be much better.

   The biscuits are excellent, all the other food we had was good. Nothing to rave about. Service was a bit slow even though it was quiet. Also one of those restaurants that adds a 3% kitchen fee. Just pay them a fair wage, and increase the price of your food if needed. Don’t hide a fee we don’t see until after we get the bill.

   The waiter was inexperienced. The portions were very small. The biscuits were excellent. The food was under seasoned.

   My friends and I were looking for a place that had some good BBQ, but this was not the place to find that. We felt out the menu to decide on our best options to try a little bit of everything We asked the server questions on different menu items regarding portion size etc It turned out everything we asked her was false once the meals came to the table We started off with the biscuits and buttermilk chicken tenders with Mac and cheese/crispy potato bites. These were the only things I have anything good to say about. The tenders were battered and fried fresh and you could definitely taste that. We then got a the 4 meat BBQ sampler with sweet potato mash, collard greens, mashed, and fresh veggies / a lemon berry house salad. Mind you it was 4 people splitting everything we ordered so it wasn’t like we were getting a ton of food but we were just trying to get a small decent meal before a show we were seeing in Boston. the portions we were told by the server were not what we received. I do understand this was a sampler but I as well as my friend at the table, have both worked at BBQ places for years and this was not what we expected $40 for two ribs(which is 2 of the 4 meats so that’s 1 rib per) the fattiest sliced brisket I’ve ever seen and the pork belly (and the collard greens which I give credit bc they are not the easiest to make) was the only redeeming things on the plate The ribs just looked/tasted horrible Nothing looked seasoned Nothing had bbq sauce Literally nothing We assumed something would at least have bbq sauce or that would have been at least told to us by our server and we would have got some The lemonberry salad was literally greens with dressing Everything was subpar besides what Ive made a point to mention, but nothing was really great by any means The server was extremely uneducated on the menu. We were given a discount but a manager never even came to the table Wouldn’t go back Theres a kitchen appreciation fee that has no reason being on the check

    Our party ended up being two extras and they were so accommodating and kind. Highly recommend!! Food was amazing!
