   It was our 48th year wedding anniversary and my husband had never been here. They initially seated us in a two top on an aisle right next to a 4 top so we were in essences part of their table. The server broke the cork on our $400 bottle of special wine and they didn’t have a decanter. I guess we needed to. Ring our own, we asked to move to the 4top when the party left so we’d have some separation and they were accommodating. The food was very good but for the price I would opt for a more knowledgeable staff and more care for our occasion. I booked through Open Table with a notation on the occasion. It ended up very nice with comp dessert, move to a better location and Sebastian (sp) was a charming host! He was excellent!

   The greens with the prawns were way over salted. The prawns were on the salty side as well. The wine pour was undersized, it would have been nice to have been warned about that prior to ordering. The ambience and service were excellent in my view.

   We had our appointment at 2 pm on Sunday. We ordered Mini Lobster Rolls, Filet, Branzino, Potato Puree, and two dessert Butterscotch Brulee and Affogato. Foods were really good, but the sad thing was, I wanted to order rib eye, and it was out! The environment was great. Beautiful decoration. Distance between each table was fine, not too crowded. Overall is 4.9 out of 5 (0.1 subtraction for no rib eye)

   It’s always a treat to be in RH! I come back here when I need to reset. Not only a great place to be, it’s also an excellent food and service.

   The staff was incredible - the food even better. Our server recommended some incredible dishes (Burrata, Chinese Chicken Salad, Broccolini, and the Chocolate Chip Cookies, to name a few). We ended up ordering all of her recommendations and were so glad we did so! Truly the food was so delicious. Especially the broccolini - I can't wait to go back and eat it again. The ambiance is simply luxurious. Go at sunset if you can!!

   Restoration Hardware Rooftop in Palo Alto is all about the ambiance—but unfortunately, that’s about it. The space is beautifully designed, as you’d expect from RH, but the dining experience falls completely flat. The menu is extremely limited, and to make matters worse, the food itself is disappointing. My ribeye dip even had a piece of bone in it, which was pretty unpleasant. Service was another letdown—servers barely checked in, making the whole experience feel neglected. For the high prices and the hype, I expected much more. RH should probably just stick to furniture.

   Our server was wonderful. The food was good, very good, but wasn’t hot. Kinda interesting. We were celebrating two birthdays and they brought us 2 delish cookies on the house. It was very thoughtful. Overall, really good experience.
