   I would highly recommend coming for happy hour before you dine. great value there with $5.50 highballs and appy’s under $10. For dinner we ordered the chicken parmigiana (good) and the thai curry mussel pot with side of rice (really really good) Our waiter Neil was excellent as were the other servers eho were prompt with water refills. Riverhouse offers a comfortable setting with a lovely view of the water, great for date night or just drop in for happy hour!

   Firstly we ordered beers from the menu but we were told they were out of stock. Then I ordered a club sandwich with NO cheese and fries. It came with salad so server took it back while leaving my partners meal. 10 mins later it came back ,then I see cheese on it! Back it goes again. Eventually it was right. Ambience spoiled by cobwebs all over the windows and door frame Obviously the outdoor patio area had not been cleaned for some time. Food did taste good when order was properly sorted out and I did receive a comp dessert for the inconvenience. Do yourself a favour and take the 15 mins it would take to clean the patio It would make a difference.

   This restaurant is located in a beautiful setting overlooking the Fraser River. We had a lovely window seat overlooking the view. There is also a large patio outside which also looks over the river view but we just felt it was a tad too cool to sit out there this evening. However, the patio was busy with other patrons. Our server was a friendly gentleman and looked after us reasonably well although we felt there were a few lapses of attention. We may have to take some responsibility for that ourselves since we indicated that we weren't in any particular hurry. The food here was actually far better than what I expected. My wife and I ordered the pulled pork tacos for an appetizer (happy hour) and they were really good. For our mains I had the Sunday evening prime rib dinner (which our server had forgotten to mention to us but which we noticed was being delivered to some other tables) with yorkshire pudding and my wife had the lamb shank. Both were exceptional. For dessert we had the apple tart tartan with ice cream and it was delicious. Overall, a lovely evening and we'll be heading back again soon.

   The new renovations are not an improvement. It is extremely noisy in the restaurant. Food is amazing and service impeccable ( thanks Queenie!) if you have any hearing issues this is not the place to go

   Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the overall experience. The food was ok but the fact that the buffet was in the most narrowest part of the restaurant and it was lined up in both directions was crazy. I don't know if this is how its usually done but they need to rethink that whole concept. You had to squeeze back and forth through people coming and going in both directions. I didn't go back for seconds because I couldn't stand the thought of doing it twice. We will go back to the restaurant because its nice being on the water but never to the buffet again.

   Mothers Day brunch was not a good experience. The buffet set up was bizarre, it was in the kitchen between the restaurant and bar. The area was too small for the number of people. The quality was only ok, certainly not worth the $49 per person.

   Excellent friendly service! Food was hot and displayed lovely. Our waitress Quennie was fantastic. Little secret here in Ladner - thanks for a wonderful mother's Day brunch

    Our waitress was absolutely amazing. Food was so delicious, mussels, prime rib & halibut. Large sizes, great quality. Delicious homemade dessert.
