   Lovely setting with nice views of the river. Excellent and attentive service, food was tasty and presentation was very nice. She crab soup was delicious. And be sure to try the Blood Orange crème brûlée!

   Took the family for the wife’s 50th birthday and it was fantastic! From their crunchy yet pillow, soft hush puppies to start, oysters on the half shelf to the to die for great seafood dishes. Service staff was exceptional and made for great memories for this family milestone. Thank you!

   I know it’s hard for restaurants at this time of year to be perfect in every way, but I was expecting more from Riverwalk for our Thanksgiving meal. First of all, we were seated 45 minutes later than our reservation. Of course the restaurant has no control over people who linger, but it was not a good start. Once seated, we waited approximately another 10 minutes or so to be recognized by our server to order our beverages. I will say that all the food we tried was tasty, but as with most buffets, much of it was lukewarm at best. Our server did check back with us to offer clean plates, refills on drinks, and to order dessert; however, we had the feeling there was a shortage in wait staff as she did disappear for long periods of time. In fact, when my husband and I decided to order coffee at the end of the meal, it probably took a good 20 minutes to get it. At $62 pp plus gratuity and tax, this was a $300+ meal for four. While we enjoyed the variety of food that was offered, the late seating, the wait to be acknowledged once seated, and the length of time it took just to order coffee, made the experience just average. At that price, I expected better.

   We had reservations for mid-afternoon and arrived about 10 minutes early. It was very crowded and we were encouraged to go to the bar (Water Street Grill) next door for a drink. We were called to be seated 40 minutes after our reservation time, but got a window table as requested. It was a patio table with folding chairs. The food was a buffet and was quite depleted when we went through the line the first time. Everything was a little dry and overcooked. They ran out of turkey-on Thanksgiving! It’s like they weren’t ready for the crowd even though everyone made reservations. They obviously overbooked. The oysters were not worth eating - very little meat and I didn’t trust that they were kept cold enough. The mussels were the best thing. They had more meat than the oysters but were overcooked. The soup was nowhere near 135 degrees. The bill was $175 for 2 people with fountain drinks (no alcohol). We won’t do another holiday there. There is better food elsewhere for the money.

   We dined at Riverwalk for their Thanksgiving buffet on 11/28/2024. Our table was ready at our reservation time. The food was plentiful and well cooked with lots of flavor. Great variety of food. Very pleased to spend our Thanksgiving family meal at Riverwalk.

   I am no fan of buffets and this was our first time eating at Riverwalk. However, booking a reservation late left us with few options. We were impressed with how they pulled this buffet off. The food choices were excellent, plentiful and tasty. The staff kept the serving dishes replenished. The number of people they were serving was amazing. Based on our buffet experience we look forward to returning on a less hectic day and trying their regular menu.

   Located in an excellent area. Beautiful facility. However, the waiter appeared to rush us a little. Came to the table too often. Food was delicious. Overall, a very good experience.
