Seafood lovers will find a lovely haven at Rodney's Oyster House! Rodney's maritime hospitality can be found in the heart of the Beltline District in downtown Calgary. Anchored on the corner of 4th St. & 10 Ave SW in a bright and rustic room where our knowledgeable shuckers pair succulent aphrodisiacs with local beer and classic wines. Rodney's is built on a strong foundation with a singular focus - growing, sourcing, and serving some of the finest oysters from around the globe. Our classic costal menu features house made chowders, live lobster and crab, fresh mussels and scallops, shrimp, and sustainably sourced fish. Also serving locally sourced Alberta beef to vegetarian, and gluten free are readily available for the non-seafood lovers.

We had been meaning to try Rodney's for pre-theatre dinner for some time. The service was quick and the food was great. We had the crab cakes, seafood pasta, scallops with kale and spinach, and dessert. The Happy Hour pricing is fantastic. We may be returning for the steak and lobster deal, soon.

I had a great first experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Our server, Isabel, was attentive, friendly, and very professional. She made sure we had everything we needed and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I was visiting for the first time, but I’m sure I’ll be back again!

Great value for Happy Hour beer. The sliders were pricey for what you get though, the fish tacos in particular, most batter. Friendly service though, prompt service, nice venue.

Rodney’s Calgary never disappoints! Food and service is always great! Speed of service was awesome today - plenry of time to enjoy our meal and still get back to work on time. This is by far our favourite Friday lunch date restaurant!
