Our first visit to Roka Akor was a delight. The oysters I ordered as an appetizer were sizable and succulent. I followed that with an assortment of sashimi that was as visually pleasing as it was delicious. I then topped off the meal with a Crispy Spicy Tuna Roll and a Seared Salmon Roll, which tickled my tastebuds in a perfectly delightful manner. Our meal was on the pricy side, which, unfortunately, is the norm for high-quality sushi. Also, I would have preferred to have the little crock of soy sauce left with me instead of having to ask for refills (I use a lot of soy sauce). Otherwise, it was a delightful and satisfying experience enhanced by attentive service from David.

We started with the salmon tartare and the shrimp tempura, both were delicious. I thought that the black cod was the star of the meal but my wife that it was the lamb cutlets. It was all good.

This was our 1st time visiting this restaurant. The service was poor (unattentative, had to flag down our waiter, David, several times) the food was underwhelming, except the cod and lobster and shrimp dumplings were good. We overpaid for the service and food, was very disappointed!
