   Roma has a number of small rooms (and a fabulous patio for pleasant weather dining). The food is tasty & service was excellent. We enjoyed sharing veal Marsala and a pasta pesto dish, which was fabulous.

   One of our favorite places. We had reservations for 6 pm but decided to go earlier. We got there right before 5 and even though they weren’t yet open they welcomed us in. Caesar salad was great but the house salad is still my favorite. We had Fettuccine Cacio e Pepe and it was amazing. The bread, the pasta, the service! Our waiter was from Italy and was so friendly and a wealth of information. This place is wonderful, and more importantly they are consistent, great service and delicious food every time.

   This is our go-to neighborhood restaurant and it is wonderful. This is one of a handful of restaurants in Houston that still do tableside prep of several menu items and it's always such a fun experience. The service is excellent. I'm not a huge fan of pasta but I love Italian restaurants, so the diverse menu is really appreciated - the daily fish special, the lamb shank and the salmon are standouts. The meatballs and arancini are our favorite appetizers, the chocolate cake is to die for and the wine menu is lovely. The only drawback is that the dining room is a tight space and the tables are small, so a little elbow bumping is to be expected and it's a challenge to arrange the table when dining with others. It's also pretty loud on a packed Friday/Saturday night. If these things are of concern, patio seating is a little more spacious (we like the dining room better).

This is a 1939 home that has been converted to a restaurant. In addition to the patio we have two smaller rooms that are usually quieter that are available for seating.    Greeted with a “genuine” smile Seated promptly Was given a wine menu as well as the food menu. NOTE: What makes this a very special Italian restaurant is not only the made from scratch menu options, but also their Italian only wine list. Ensuring that you the have the option to perfectly compliment to your entrée or dessert with wine from whichever region of Italy you prefer.  CHIANTI: straightforward, notes of red fruits, smooth Arancini is a must: a perfect introduction of decadence from a provincial Italian appetizer. Lasagna has a very unique blending of spices which match perfectly with its rustic, and savory presentation. Beef shorts ribs was fall off the bone, melding , perfectly with the polenta. The tiramisu was very light with a perfect balance of flavors. The service was awesome. Very professional but more importantly very personable. Just good people. Never once felt that I was overly pandered to, nor made to feel like they were doing me a favor by allowing me to dine there. I felt like i was with friends and appreciated it greatly. Was there for a birthday dinner and was not disappointed.

   Made a last-minute reservation for "date night" with my wife. On arrival we were offered our choice of tables--outside, in the busy front dining room, in a quieter middle dining room, or in the very quiet back dining room. We chose the back room and were glad we did. The recommended bottle of "Super Tuscan" wine was delicious and a good value. We started with the warm Caprese salad, which was excellent. Our pasta entrées of Tagliatelle Bolognese and Lasagna were both very good and served piping hot. For dessert, we shared a wonderful Limoncello Tart accompanied by decaf Americano coffees. Our waiter and other staff were knowledgeable and attentive without hovering. Altogether a lovely evening.

   Service was great, felt like we were at someone gone the way they took care of us. Food tasted good along with the drinks. We ordered the lasagna, fettuccine, and the fried calamari. All great and two old fashions that were definitely seasoned as described, overall a great dining experience.
