North Carolina chef and restaurateur, Jim Noble founded Rooster’s: A Noble Grille with the intention of being relevant without being trendy and to impress without being pretentious. That commitment has carried us through two decades and continues to lead us on today.

Knowing that simple food is harder to execute given there is nowhere to hide the flaws, we go to great lengths to source quality ingredients from local farmers and purveyors. We then take all the time necessary to develop their flavors —using both European and modern techniques—always working from scratch.

Our menu features tried and true staples like our spit­-roasted chicken cooked over open fire as well as progressive daily​ specials and elevated Small Plates featuring Executive Chef Brad Pennell. At Rooster’s, you’ll always find something new served with an honest commitment and consistently warm care.

    Rooster’s has been our go to Restaurants in Winston-Salem for a long time. The food quality and presentation is outstanding. The manager, Hannah goes out of her way to try to talk to every table. The restaurant has a bit of everything… A good bar… Outstanding food… Great patio…

    Best of the Best! Been dining there since 2001! Everything is 5 Star! Favorite items are the Fried Oyster Salad, Tomato Basil Soup, Rotisserie Chicken, Pasta Bolognese and several others. Always enjoy the Staff and so many of the Clientele!

    Went for a “significant” birthday dinner. Asked for a quiet place, and were seated on the edge of the dining area near the door which turned out to be perfect. The drinks were wonderful, the food was superb. Best salmon I’ve ever had. Perfectly crusted skin and perfect doneness. Amazing Brussells sprouts, roaster asparagus. Delicious créme brûlée. Will definitely be going back.

    As always, great service. We had brunch. I’m gluten free and non-dairy, so wish they had a non-dairy alternative for coffee and a gluten free bread option.

    The restaurant was clearly understaffed. We had a reservation, were seated immediately, and weren't greeted by anyone for over 10 minutes. We then waited 10+ minutes for our drinks ( 1 wine and 1 cocktail) and 45+ minutes for our food. Our waters were frequently empty. Not the level of service I expect from this establishment. No apologies were made. Finally, when the bill came, we were charged for an item we didn't order.
