The service was awesome. From host to the waiter, they were awesome. Food, though, was terrible. Staring that the Ballantine location removed the croquettes from the menu. Then, all the plates were very salty, using poor (bad quality and too much amount) of seasoning. Out of my USD 310 bill, only the pizza was OK. The visit was very disappointing.

The shrimp and grits and short rib beef hash were delicious.

3rd visit. All 3 the same. All 3 visits food took way too long. Server was excellent. All 3 visits Hostess stand very chaotic and they spent too much time talking to each other about where to sit us. Would love to go back but food takes too long.

First time going, I was expecting it to be nicer. The food is overpriced for the quality, quantity and type of place. The $52 NY Strip looked like it was a half piece of steak...and it was tough. He was planning getting a hamburger but our server had to come back to our table after we placed our order to tell us they were out of hamburgers and she also came back and said they were out of the Chicken which I ordered. Our server Kayc L was very sweet apologetic. Inside was very loud and echoey so we were lucky enough to get a table outside, which was nice. I do realize they were very busy...but they should have planned on that?

We came there from Mother’s Day and question whether we will return. We’ve been to the other Rooster’s in SouthPark and it’s always great. Our server was good at first, but then she just disappeared and we never saw her again until all her drinks were bone dry and plates were waiting to be removed. My wife’s and my salad, we could barely taste the dressing. I had the kale Caesar and my wife had some strawberry salad. The shrimp seemed very overcooked that we added to our salads. My mother‘s chicken salad was so dry you could barely eat it. Her side of mac & cheese was hard and didn’t have much flavor. Our son had the roasted chicken and seemed to like it. We added fries which were OK and the corn what’s good. The restaurant is very loud. Could use some help with the acoustics. We were excited to try, but unfortunately, not sure if we’ll return again. Our bill with gratuity was about $140 and we had three teas and no liquor. Some lady stopped at our table well after we finished to ask how everything was well after we finished and we wanted to get out of there cause we had been waiting for our server to come back so we just told her everything was good.

I hate this review. I LOVE Roosters and have been to the uptown location easily 30-40 times, and I was thrilled they were opening this location only a couple miles from the house. Uptown is perfect, intimate, excellent food, bar downstairs is also intimate, we love it. Here, when you walk in, you walk into a large open air metal building that feels like a warehouse or an airline hanger. Almost like a Costco, but a taller ceiling with fans necessary to move air, feeling the breeze. It's so loud, everyone raises their voice, so it's even louder. One guy near us was on his phone and had to have his finger in his ear to hear. We sat at a tiny table in the middle of the traffic, and with the environment, the traffic, the noise and the warehouse vibe, we decided to leave before we ordered dinner. So disappointed, as we really wanted this to be a local neighborhood spot we could go to, as we know we LOVE the food! I'd go all the way downtown a dozen times before I'd bother going here again unless they make massive fixes. I'm sure the food is excellent, and our service was excellent too, but even they understood why we chose to leave, and even admitted many others did too for the same reason. Roosters - we love you, but you need to fix this metal building, drop the ceilings, make it intimate, add sound buffers, solve the concrete floors, or something. This is more 'new' brewery than restaurant. We'll watch from a distance, and we hope we'll try again sometime, but not until you turn it from a warehouse into a restaurant.

Love what a tight ship Roosters is. It’s pretty loud inside and in hindsight I would have loved to sit outside. Son felt like steak was small (not a full NY strip) but overall we love the food… I thought the campanelle dish was a little skimpy in size too but my other son thought it was fine. The fries are amazing and the service was top notch.

Our experience was nothing short of AMAZING! We had reservations for 6:45, but came a bit early. After a brief wait, we had a table. Our server, Nick, was phenomenal. He thoroughly explained the menu, taking the time to answer all of our questions. We were all very satisfied with the food and exceptional service!
