   Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Roots Southern Table in Farmers Branch, and it was an absolutely sensational experience from start to finish. Every single bite of food was truly extraordinary – a masterclass in Southern cuisine. The flavors were incredible, and the dishes as well as their signature cocktails were clearly crafted with immense skill and passion. And whatever dish you decide to indulge in, be sure to add a side of greens with their special house made vinegar. Thank me later! Beyond the phenomenal food, my server was also a highlight. The young lady was pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience considerably.  I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Roots Southern Table and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable meal in the Dallas area. This restaurant is a true gem!

   The change up of the menu is fantastic. Always good food at Roots! What a perfect little gem of a restaurant in Farmers Branch.

   Tried the redfish this time, best I've had in Dallas. The crawfish rice with it and seasoning were absolutely delicious! My wife ordered the turnip greens, which I'm not particularly a fan of, but the flavor was wonderful.

   The food was great. The service was good. However, it was very noisy, so much so that my wife and I could not have a real conversation. Too bad, as this was our anniversary celebration.

   Elevated Southern cuisine paired with some amazing cocktails. That’s quite probably the best corn bread I’ve ever had, together with some of the best and flavorful fried chicken.

   Unreasonble hospitality at work here! Will Guidera needs to visit your restaurant. Keenan was our server and was absolutely fantastic. Great recommendations and was on top of his game to provide outstanding hospitality! The food was amazing. Clearly Tiffany isn’t just a great chef but also a great trainer to get he team to execute at a high level. Exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

   Enjoyed the duck-fat fried chicken. Well-seasoned, nice crusty exterior. Husband loved the biscuits. Pea salad with burrata was delicious.

   We went for the Master Chef Premiere event, and had a wonderful time. The fried shrimp & grits in the tomato stew were my favorite thing I had that night so delicious. As always the staff exceeded expectations, and the service was excellent.

    The atmosphere was great and the live music was an unexpected treat on a Sunday evening. Our standout dishes were the fried chicken and biscuits, cast iron cornbread and banana pudding. The hoppin John and greens were good also. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. I would definitely come back and bring friends.
