About this restaurant

  • Charming
  • Good for special occasions
  • Great for fine wines
The famed Roscioli in Rome — yes, that one — is now in the heart of New York’s Soho neighborhood. Our Roman Feast style menu is served on the lower level of 43 MacDougal Street (down the flight of stairs on King Street). We serve an incredible prix fixe feast over 5 courses, featuring seasonal entrees and classic Roman pastas. Our wine team carefully curates a wine pairing featuring exclusive, small batch wines directly from our favorite producers in Italy. Or, opt for our reserve pairing to experience hard-to-find gems from our cellar.

This space also hosts our weekend classes such as wine class and mozzarella making. Tickets are available on our a la carte page.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Please cancel at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations within 48 hours incur a $50 per person fee. For emergencies, email ciao@rosciolinyc.com.

Please note that there is a flight of stairs down to this room and unfortunately it is not ADA accessible.

I am Roman. The food was not even similar to any of theRoman cuisine. The mezze maniche alla carbonara were undercooked and the guanciale was over cooked. The burrata was watery, the ravioli with the ricotta and besciamella sauce were tasteless. The short ribs had only one microscopic cipollina borettana. The lasagna was good as the tiramisu. At the end it was disappointing for the price that I paid

We've been to Roscioli in Rome and very much looked forward to the Roman Feast at Roscioli in NYC. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will probably return to try the restaurant upstairs, a la carte. The antipasto and pastas were all delicious. On the other hand, we were disappointed with the artichoke. The deserts and wines were all great.

Delicious food! We had the roman feast. It was excellent. And the staff were so lovely. The wine cellar was fun. Great for celiac/gluten-free people. Will be back. Highly recommend.

I went to the Roscioli in Rome, when I came to this one I was hoping it would meet the same expectations and it really did. It was fabulous, the Carbonara literally brought me back to Italy.

Mostly terrific food in a lovely atmosphere. Not a fan of moscato like so many other people so would be a nicer way to end the meal if that was not the wine accompaniment. Some of the dishes were more fine than great (ex mortadella sandwich, artichoke, bread) but very glad to have gone. Encourage others to go but not all dishes dazzle

We enjoyed the Roman feast! So many delicious courses that we took food home. Great wines as well. The waitstaff also top notch. Explained the menu and made vegetarian versions for my friend. Recommend this place!
