   Had to wait forever for a table. Thought the food was good not great. Pasta was undercooked but flavors were good. Tuna crudo and sweet potatoes were solid. Not overly impressive overall.

   My wife and I recently dined at Rose Mary in the West Loop, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between vibrant and intimate, making it a fantastic spot for a special evening out. We started with the Zucchini Fritters, which were light, crispy, and packed with flavor—a wonderful way to begin the meal. For our main dishes, we shared the Duck and Delicate Squash. The Duck was perfectly cooked with a rich, savory profile that paired beautifully with the nuanced flavors of the squash. The Skradin followed, and its creamy texture and depth of taste stood out as a true highlight. To end the meal, we couldn't resist trying the Palacinke for dessert. It was a delightful finish—perfectly executed with just the right balance of sweetness and texture. For drinks, I enjoyed an Old Fashioned that was expertly crafted and well-balanced, while my wife opted for a glass of red wine. The wine was bold and smooth, complementing the meal wonderfully. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, and they made excellent recommendations throughout the evening. Overall, Rose Mary delivered an unforgettable dining experience that we can’t wait to repeat. Highly recommend for anyone looking for incredible food and a welcoming atmosphere.

   Great overall experience, though very expensive. Exceptional service, and food ranged from tremendous to good, with one disappointing dish. Highly recommend the lamb saddle, charred cauliflower, and beets with pomegranate. Wonderful and unique, each. Prawns, grilled clams and zucchini fritters were all quite good, with the clams really bringing an interesting and delicately herbed flavor. Squid ink risotto was a miss for us--bland and rice was just a tad undercooked. Blueberry lemon ginger sorbet and coffee for dessert was wonderful. And a pleasant ambience that was lively, yet not so loud you couldn't have a conversation--unique for Chicago these days.

   The food was mediocre at best. Terribly over salted. Zucchini fritters were oily. Radiatora Cacio a pepe was undercooked- not even close to al dente. Squid ink crini was over salted and undercooked. Greg M. provided top notch service which helped overcome the disappointing food experience.

   The food was good, but nothing to write about. There is one and a dozen restaurants with the similar menu In my opinion, just another Chicago overpriced restaurant. I understand you pay for the location and the name, but we probably won’t come back in the near future.
