   Our party of two was seated in the downstairs dining room between two large (8+), VERY loud parties. The bread basket was disappointing (commercial, basic, not warm dinner rolls seemingly?) But the worst thing - Fox News playing on a TV screen. Why is there even a screen in this dining room at all? Not for guests at the bar, as their backs were to this screen. One should be able to enjoy dinner, at least, without the continual media pummeling. If we cannot come together over a meal, then what is left, really? I will qualify this for readers by acknowledging that I did not speak to the establishment about any of these things. Because I am sick of being in the position to have to do that. If restaurants are going to charge the kind of high prices they’re charging, plus surcharges, then in exchange, things like this should not happen, especially in a major metropolis. My suggestion to Rosebud on Rush - be more professional, like your delightful servers! My suggestion to diners - choose one of the other hundreds of fantastic restaurants in The Second City. There’s just no excuse for stuff like this anymore.

   Bread was stale. Service was very slow. Veal was pretty gross. Table next to us was loud and annoying. Pasta was decent

   We were there to celebrate a friends birthday and they mentioned it but didn’t do anything to celebrate. Food was good but pricey for what it was

   We came here on a Sunday for “brunch”. There were very few breakfast type options and we ended up having sandwiches. The food was pretty good. My companions had the burgers- they said were good. I had the chicken BLT. It was good but no condiments on it. So kind of dry. The fries were delicious. We sat on the heated patio which was quite chilly so if you don’t like being cold I would eat inside.

   It was a nice ambiance and great food. Service was pretty well also. It did however, get a little warm under tents with the heaters.

   For the price, this place is not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend a steak from this place. Friendly staff, but you can get much better food for half the price at many other places.

    We appreciate an authentic Italian ambience and fantastic service. Rosebud consistently wins with great food and drinks! We have enjoyed rosebud in both large group settings and intimate meals for 2. The patio, downstairs and upstairs dining rooms each offer different dining experience which the staff has tailored well based on our group sizes. Highly recommend for a date and night out with close friends.
