   Prices for food were a little higher than expected. Could use a cocktail menu to help with the great debate of what to drink, and there wasn’t a specials menu for Valentines Day

   Always an exceptional dining experience. With a Chicago vibe and a variety of areas to dine as well as a large bar area. Service and food have always been impeccable.

   Valet parking a nightmare. Line was 8 cars deep when I arrived. I decided to park myself. Unfortunately, all available parking spots were blocked by cones. If they can’t handle the volume of traffic they should at least allow self parking. When I finally made it inside, I was informed that our table was not yet unavailable so we went to the bar for a drink. Bartenders were also overwhelmed and were very slow to take our order and deliver drinks. Once seated, the experience quickly changed. Our server was quick and knowledgeable. The menu lacks description of their items but she was able to answer all of our questions. Really like the menu variety and various price points. Something for everyone and every budget. The food was served perfectly as ordered and was delicious. We will definitely be back.

   Our first time trying Rosebud Wheeling and it was mostly impressive! The prices( as with most restaurants like this) are too steep! Be selective as to not over do it! The only disappointment was the complimentary rolls! Two rather basic dinner rolls dressed up in glossy oil or melted butter with flecks of parsley! Tasteless! I think given the upper level caliber of this establishment- Rosebud should do better or don’t bother! This was a very cheap opening to our meal!

   Nadia was a wonderful server. The steak was tender. The mashed potatoes and spinach were delicious.

   so we arrived on time for our reservation. The two men at the front were not very friendly. They kept looking at the seating chart and then looking at us and said to the hostess, “seat them at table X”and then looked at us again and said no never mind “seat them here upstairs” . so we went to this little area off the place that everybody brings the dirty dishes and the food as a throughway and she sat us in a little alcove smack next to a couple we didn’t know. Of course she had to say “oh I love this area. It’s my favorite spot in the restaurant” -we looked at each other because we knew she was shining us on. Clearly this table was not the best option, just convenient. At first I said I wanted a table and we were going to change, but then we just left it. This was very disappointing and not at all a romantic Valentine dinner. so in the meantime, two minutes later, she seats a couple at the table that we asked for. Immediately they are served water, bread and a server comes to them and asked them if they would like anything to drink. In the meantime, we are still sitting there for about 10 minutes before the server finally came over. I am not blaming him because the restaurant was very busy but clearly they do not serve people in the order that they arrive. I also would like to know what it was about us that they made the table change. We were certainly dressed very nicely. I was pretty disappointed last night. We had been there before and had a wonderful dinner with our whole family of eight. Not sure it’s going to be a repeat performance. Food wise: Caesar salad was skimpy and not tasty, the steak was very good and mashed potatoes enough for 4 people.

   Food was excellent, Our waitress Guillermo’s was great. My husband got a steak and it was amazing . The drinks were great. The Tiramisu was delicious as well. This is our first time going to this location. I wish i was more cozy like the one in downtown. But overall experience was great.
