Not a patch on old days Inder 4 seasons. Buffet very ordinary , full of noisy families and no sense of it being “special”

A wonderful experience, we would like to thank the sommelier Constantine from Australia for his excellent work, and all his workers for such a wonderful evening on February 14th.

It took us 4 hours to dine and we were the quickest of all the tables we had around us, because we kept complaining. At some point the general mood in the room was depressing as everyone was complaining and threatening to leave, absolutely unbelieveable. They had the bread baskets ready to go on a table that was visible, yet they were not even bringing it to us while we were waiting for the food, we had to ask, waiter of course forgot, had to ask again, and finally it took your man a good 15 seconds to bring us the bread that had been sitting ready to go since we got there. To make it all better, I was charged a 15% service charge, not notified anywhere (table of 2), that I only noticed at home while looking at the receipt. This added almost €50 to the bill. I complained and never got an answer. The waiters had no clue what they were doing. The only person in the whole room that seem to know anything was the somelier. It is the worst service I've ever received in a restaurant in Ireland, and that's without even factoring in that you're in the restaurant of a "5 star hotel". The room is beautiful though, probably one of the most elegant ones in Dublin, and the food, when it got to the table, was very good and generous quantities, and the price was adequate for the quality/quantity of food, but everything else made this sadly irrelevant as by the time you got some of your food, you were already so mad and disappointed that it was impossible to enjoy.

Very disappointing. Spent 210 euros without wine/alcohol. We arrived at 7:00, first dish arrived at 8:30 after I complained. They told us two drinks were included with the starters, then they put it in the bill and I had to ask them to do it again. They included the 12.5% tips, which: first, I would have want to decide myself how much tip to give; second, how can you even force to include a tip after you know that you had a huge delay and horrible service. I found it extremely unprofessional behaviour which only tries to maximise profit out of customer. On the contrary I would have expected something complementary/free to apologise for the delays, not extra charges.

Limited menu Soup warm No bread except white sliced Good fillet steak Good white wine Good dessert Atmosphere/ environment nice but DEAD because only 8 other diners As a result have cancelled a dinner booking on 29 th Your lobby lounge was packed and its menu more appealing Impression is that hotel is disinterested in providing fine dining

Almost 3 hours to have a 4 course meal, I almost gave up on my second meal as we were there for almost 2 hours already. Not sure if they were understaffed or just slow to serve food.
