   Roti Indian Bistro is by far one of my favorite Indian restaurants. The food is consistently great, as well as the service and atmosphere. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for all occasions.

   Very nice place. We share all the dishes so we were able to try everything. 3 different types of curry’s dishes. Excellent. Chicken, lamb, shrimp curries with rice and naan .

   Tamarind chutney was jammy, paired beautifully with onion pakoras. Navrattan korma delighted my hubby as he tends to always order veggie dishes. As for me, I was captivated with the spicy, homestyle goat curry which is hard to find in most restaurants that fits my bill. However, the star of the night was the tamarind old fashion served with the classy large ice cube. The owner graced our table and we had a nice chat about his culinary journey. I would return to savor other offerings on my next visit to the city. Four stars due to the first moments of arrival and awkwardness with the hostess,however the co owner quickly corrected the oversight. All in all a great experience!

   A cute little place in West Portal area that serves very good Indian food. We had a number of dishes. The stand-outs are: 1. The lamb korma was excellent - the meat was cooked just right and melted in your mouth. 2. Chettinad Pepper Chicken (one of the January Roti specials) was very good and the chicken was cooked just right -- the dish may be a little too spicy (i.e., heat) for some people, though. 3. Masoor, Moong & Urad Dal (another January special, a vegan lentil dish) is also flavorful and non-spicy. The cocktails are interesting, served with an Indian twist. The noise level can be high, given the tile floor and hard wood interior, when the place is full.

   Love the food, neighborhood, staff and Owner. We come from Pacifica regularly to get our fix. Tandori mixed grill.
