                                                                                                                  Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at rpm. The restaurant was packed, as expected as it’s a Friday night. The wait time to sit down, have drink and food orders to be taken was way way way too long. We were there for over 2.5 hours and only got 2 drinks each because of how long it look to get service. Our server was nice, but she seemed overwhelmed. The service did not match the cost of eating here. The food tasted good.

                                                                                                                  You’re definitely paying for the service and atmosphere at this restaurant, which was beyond perfect. However, I was expecting the food to be better at this price point. Not really worth the money if you’re hungry, but if you’re looking for good vibes then this is a good place. I just expected a place with michelin star chefs showcased on their website to be able to cook a steak properly, and the pastas were just too small of a portion for $25-35.

                                                                                                                  The Cacio e Pepe was a bit too salty (too much Parmesan and not enough pecorino Romano). The scallop dish was okay, and not really worth $42 for four small pieces of scallops and just buttered pasta. The spaghetti was fairly good and the focaccia with ricotta and burrata were delicious. The special pizza blank was also delicious with generous black truffle. The mushroom risotto was also delicious as well. The carrot cake was okay but a generous serving. The service was great with them bringing out a candle and a mini gelato for our birthday. The drinks were good with the Sauvignon and the bullet drink being delicious.

                                                                                                                  Enjoyed the overall experience. The place was very busy partly due to the presidential inauguration weekend. A great atmosphere and nicely dressed people out for an evening of dining. Service was a little slow due to the full house but once we got our food it was very good. Welcoming staff at the door and wait staff were pleasant. Only negative I can report was that when we were trying to leave, it to the valet a long time to retrieve my car. Long as in nearly 15 - 20 minutes. I recommend this place for a nice night out for any occasion.
