Southern style American Barbecue is an institution in itself. Contrary to quickly grilled meats at high temperatures on an open flame, Southern Style Barbecue consists of a gentle slow process where the meat cooks with the smoke generated from the wood fire. RUBS’ unique recipes have been crafted using Quebec grown sweet Maple wood for a taste like none other.

We are open and ready for buniess on Thanksgiving Oct. 11th, 2021 from 4pm - 9pm

Les côtés levés étaient sèches. La nourriture semblait avoir été réchauffé juste avant d’être servi. Seul côté positif, le service a été rapide et correct.

Le service est bon, le personnel très aimable. Par contre la bouffe n’est pas bonne, aucun goût, ça a l’air très cheap pour le prix qu’on paye, ça ne vaut pas. Les portions assez grande, mais bonne BBQ, rien de spécial.

Too many mistakes on my bill, we were 5 people and charged for 6 plates, then ordered a dish that comes with fries and modified for mac n’cheese. The waiter said it would be an extra for the change and we agreed (extra meaning paying the difference). When the bill came, we were charged the full price of the mac n’cheese side. The waiter should have mentioned it would be a new purchase and not an extra. Or at least still include the fries that are a part of the dish. Every restaurant makes us pay the difference, not the actual side. The waiter said that’s how this works at Rubs, so Rubs will not see us anymore!

The food was horrible. The meat was like rubber. The soda was flat. When I told the server that meat was like rubber I was told that they had changed suppler and that the meat was fine. The manager said that the meat was tender as it gets. If you need to cut your meat it means it is not fall off the bone tender. All in all it was horrible
