Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does.     This is the best of all three locations. Dining room is nicer atmosphere than both Avalon and Sandy Springs (don’t get me wrong - I love those also!). Sea bass is just as good and if it’s even possible, I think the portions are even bigger! Which is crazy since they already give you sooo much food. We love Rumis!

    Seven of us got together to celebrate New Years Eve with a 2pm lunch, just as we did last year. As usual, the food and service was excellent, and reasonably priced at around $50 a person considering the quality of the food and beverages. In addition, our waitress was warm and attentive.

    Ugh we love Rumi’s!!! The food is always a hit, and this time our server was extra exceptional!!!! He checked in on us, was super thoughtful and accommodating of my vegetarianism, brought such good energy, and to top it off - at the end he boxed everything for us and labeled each box and made sure the meat was packed separately!!! He was awesome!!!!
