   They food was amazing, the filet was cooked perfectly and the warm melted butter on the plate finished it off.

   Super disappointing time. I saw the photos from a Ruth Chris whisky tasting dinner that friends attending in NYC and decided to try the champagne tasting with a girlfriend. It was overpriced and underwhelming as well as extremely poorly organized. The entire event took 4 hours and we left still hungry. For $150 pre fixe menu the portions were *teeny* (albeit tasty) and the entire evening came with both a video we had to watch AND a presentation from the rep at Moet. At this price point I expected a much more filling menu and no marketing nonsense. The timing of food delivery was wild - we had at minimum 20 minutes between courses, drinks delivered without food to pair and some people at a nearby table finishing before others in their party even got food. I'm not sure who was expediting but it felt like the restaurant wars episode of Top Chef, chaos. All told our 5 courses with 4 champagnes cost $186 per person with gratuity and it was one of the least enjoyable dinners I've ever attended. I was very excited for this concept but would not attend another event here for sure -- in fact I don't think I would choose this location for a fancy dinner when The Federal is just as close and 10x more delicious.

   Seafood and Steak meals were good. Salad with Petit Filet was not suitable to be served. Filet was cold and non fresh iceberg when it was supposed to be romaine.

   We attempted to dine here last evening and it was the worst mistake. We had a bar table but decided to sit at the actual bar as the IU game was on. The service was absolutely terrible and the lobster bisque was terrible as well…thank god it was served with only 2 spoonfuls in the bowl. After being ignored and watching everyone else around us receive bread, we decided we had enough. We demanded our check and never ate dinner which was fine as no one ever came back to ask for our dinner order.

   I love Ruth Chris. Have been coming to the Waltham location for many years. This last experience was terrible. My steak was very overcooked, potatoes were cold and Brussels sprouts have zero flavor even with the bacon addition. Definitely will not be coming back here in the future. It’s sad because this was my favorite steak place for over a decade.

    The food was fantastic as always. We were fortunate to have Denise as our server. She is the BEST. We are planning to come for Thanksgiving dinner which we are looking forward to.
