Sabai Thai, located in midtown Manhattan, opened in 2018. The restaurant's menu serves traditional Thai dishes, showcasing the intricacy, complexity, and richness of the country's cuisine. The Thai term 'sabai' means 'relaxed', and this is evident in the ambiance and the beautiful 2,300-square-feet space.

At Sabai Thai, the safety of our guests and staff is our top priority. All guests will have their temperature taken upon arriving at the restaurant. One member of each party will be required to provide personal information for contact tracing. Guests are encouraged to wear a mask when entering and leaving the restaurant, accessing the restroom, and respecting six-feet social distancing.

We came as a party of 10 people to celebrate a birthday on Christmas Day. The service was slow and chaotic even though there were only 3-4 other tables filled. It seemed as if the waiters just did not want to be there. The food was okay. It is probably tough to keep a restaurant open on Christmas, but if this is how the service is going to be, it is probably better to remain closed.
