The place is beautiful. Calm, not noisy. Dimly lit. Staff is amazing. Many people involved in serving your table which eliminates longer periods of waiting. The food did take a little longer to get to the table but it was good. We had the salmon which was very good. The honey curry was delightful. We also go the wagyu. It was undercooked from how we ordered it but the manager was so polite and helpful when we asked to have it cooked a little longer. That was the only “issue” we had and it wasn’t a big issue at all. I would dine here again.

Beautiful setting in a very large yet quiet old building. The service was very good. They have a very small menu so not too much to choose from. We often like that but this time just didn't see what we loved. I opted for the Waygu steak which was not bad but could have been a lot better. It was just warm when it came out like it had been sitting waiting before it came out. My wife had the wild boar cannellini which wasn't hot either. We should have said something but just didn't want to fuss at the time.

First time trying this restaurant with out of town guests. Service was impeccable. Our server, Kate, was friendly and very knowledgeable and took the time to explain how certain dishes were prepared. Sadly, the food itself was of mixed quality. The foie gras was impeccable, as was the soup. Other appetizers were ok. The lamb Rogan Josh was returned for being bland and dry. The duck was fabulous as was the Thai bouillabaisse. For the prices food was very inconsistent. That said, we would try it again. It has such promise.

Sigh...our party of 4 youthful 60-70 somethings, all self proclaimed 'foodies' were so excited to have dinner at Sage. I won't belabor all the good and the bad...it's all there in the mixed reviews both on Google and here in the OPENTABLE app. It is absolutely stunning, inside and out, our service was lovely. We knew it would be an expensive experience and that the food was 'precious' (think artful, small servings), but the menu read so well that we didn't care. All around, the food was such a disappointment we won't ever return...it's too expensive to go again and try other options. The salads (Caesar without croutons, no doubt because they "don't serve bread" as one review notes so there is nothing with which to make them; and caprese with unripe tomatoes) were flavorless so we had to ask for salt and lemon...and the caesar was comprised of 90% bottom ends of the romaine. The wild boar cannelloni for $36 were 2 tiny (think Vietnamese spring rolls)cigars filled with barely moist pork and decoratively dressed with a delicious sauce...if only there had been more it would have greatly helped. The duck and risotto cake were just...dry. The creme brulee and strawberry profiteroles were simply uninspired. So, all in all, if ambience and service is all you require for a special, expensive night out, Sage is the place! If food is important too, well, hope your order better than we did!

Thank you for dining with us and for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your meal didn’t meet expectations. Our menu highlights high-quality ingredients, and while portion sizes are curated for a balanced experience, we understand preferences vary. Our Caesar includes a goat cheese crouton, and the wild boar cannelloni features house-made pasta and slow-braised boar. Our duck is prepared for tenderness, complemented by a risotto cake for depth. To minimize waste, we offer a chef-prepared amuse-bouche instead of bread. Our goal is always to provide an exceptional experience, and we regret not having the chance to address your concerns in the moment. Our team is always available to assist, and we encourage guests to speak with a manager if anything isn’t meeting expectations.
