   We made a reservation for four people for New Years Day evening. We were seated shortly after we arrived, a few minutes after our reservation time. The place was hopping and there appeared to be only one server. That said, it was a relaxing evening we did not feel rushed at all, the service was very good and the food was excellent. I had the special steak meal and my wife had the Honey Glazed Salmon. Our friends enjoyed their meal as well and we all shared a bite of each others dinner, not sure which one was the best of a great dining experience. Our friends live in a major metropolitan area and were very impressed by the food quality at Salsa's and Asheville in general.

   Needed more people working to handle amount of customers. Waited 20 minutes after our reservation time. The homemade salsa and margaritas were good but the empanada and quesadilla were sub par. Don’t understand the raving reviews. Maybe need to try again another day!

   The best dish was the octopus appetizer. Everything else was sub par to not great. Very cramped space. The mains came out lukewarm. The biggest shock was when they said they do not “have tap water” and so they require you to buy a $6 bottle of water. This isn’t advertised anywhere on their menu or website as far as I could see. Won’t be back.

   Awesome food and great service. Their eclectic mix of flavors is something I didn’t know I was missing in my life. I wish they had a similar restaurant in Greenville, SC. We will definitely be going back the next week are in Asheville. Fair warning - seating is limited so make a reservation. And be ready for some big portions!

   Salsa’s has long been one of my favorite restaurants in Asheville until tonight. We arrived on time for our reservation but weren’t seated until over 30 minutes later. We didn’t get a single beverage until over an hour after we were seated. I even asked the hostess for waters, and she gave me an annoyed looked and ignored us. We never got water the whole meal. Our food arrived almost 2 hours after seating. They didn’t offer anything off the check. What a disappointment.

    I had dinner with my daughters. We started with the three dips and chips. I had the pork empanadas which were delicious. My daughters all enjoyed their entrees. The restaurant is very small and crowded which gives it an energetic feel. I would definitely go back.
