We started with a few appetizers. We ordered the bread, burrata and octopus. The bread was good but the butter was rock hard. So if you try to spread cold, hard butter on fresh soft bread, it's a mess. The burrata was ok and was more sweet than savory. The octopus was a bit tough and the skin was very stringy. I wasn't a fan of the glaze on it and the potatoes. The potatoes were so soaked in it, you couldn't tell they were potatoes. For the main course we had the shrimp risotto and the filet mignon with prawns. The risotto was good but a bit undercooked. There were quite a few crunchy rice bits in it. The steak was ok but they serve the chimichurri sauce spread on top of it. I've never had it like that before. I've always had it on the side to use. So it was a bit heavy on the chimichurri for me. The prawns were good though. There is no waiting area/lobby, so if you get there early, you have to just stand in the middle of the place or you can sit at the bar if there's a spot open. Because they do not have a foyer, every time the door opens you get hit with cold air rushing in, so prepare to bring a jacket if you get seated near the door. There is only 1 shared bathroom so you may have to wait a bit to use it. They cram a lot of tables in a pretty small space, so the volume in there is quite loud. Personally, for a $250 dinner for two, I expected a bit more.

Very nice overall~ although despite making reservations and arriving early, we were seated in a hallway leading to the bathroom & service area.

We were sat late but appreciated the comp’d appetizer. The drinks were good, as always. Soup arrived a minute and a half before the entrees and was not hot. Three of the entrees were overly seasoned with salt. One of our party enjoys overly salty food and was not able to eat her salmon or Brussel sprouts. Also the brussel sprouts were very undercooked. We have been here several times before and was always wonderful. This was a very disappointing dinner.

All four dishes over-salt and not alerted to high spice level for steak salad. Pork chop requested cooked medium however middle of chop almost raw. Waitstaff almost rude and unhelpful. Another woman didn't ask about coffee or dessert and threw down check--not graciously presented. Not up to standards one would expect reputation and prices.

Nice selection of interesting brunch items. A number of options with plenty of food. Excellent value. Had biscuits and gravy substituted jalapeno cheddar biscuits. Very well done with jalapeno sausage gravy. Brought some home. Definitely would return.

We had the fried calamari appetizer, S&I salad seafood chowder, the top sirloin and a dessert. All the food was delicious…prices on the high side. The server was awful…they spoke so low, we could barely hear them, they reprimanded us for not speaking directly to them, they never recommended one menu item even though they knew it was our first time eating there. After we ordered, besides refilling our water, they ignored our table and not one time did they ask how our food was!!! Not going back!!!
