   Overall great experience, the service was slow, almost like we were forgotten. Staff were very friendly, but a little disorganised. The meals, the chicken, missing the prosciutto, others around us had this, so it didn't go unnoticed. The fish had multiple bones, but sooo delicious! Dessert was lovely, great finish to our meal.

   We had a fantastic experience at Salt and Spencer. The menu offers just the right amount of choices however it is still hard picking just one. Take a friend so you can share! The cocktail menu also offers a great range too. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and professional and gave us that fun vibe all evening and made sure we were happy with everything. Will definitely go back again.

   We ordered the steak ‘ surf n turf’ the steak was tough & fatty. At $56 it was extremely disappointing. Our friends ordered the rib eye at $52 & theirs was fatty as well. The wait staff explained that you were ‘unfortunate to get a bad cut’. So at those prices why are there bad cuts? And we just happened to get both of them!!

   We had a lovely dinner at Salt and Spencer on Sat night. The service was great, with our servers Josi and Ella doing a great job explaining dishes and making sure we had everything we needed. I have a food intolerance, but the chef was happy to cater for it by amending a few dishes so that I could have some choice on the menu, which was very much appreciated. Food itself was very good, and we both enjoyed our entrees and mains. The only thing that could be improved was the fries; they were a little soggy, lukewarm and pretty tasteless. Other than that small detail, the rest was lovely, and we would recommend this restaurant.

   We had some visitors from Canberra and thought we would try Salt and Spencer as the view is fantastic. We ordered the flathead fillets and chips. We received 4 pieces of fish that were the size of a sardine, plate covered with a thousand chips and a salad consisting of purple cabbage, 2 pieces of green beans and rocket. If this is what we serve our visitors we should be ashamed as the view and service are very good. No wonder us locals stay away…….

   Our wait person Karen was a delight. The beef cheeks were 10/10. The best affogato I’ve ever had.

    We were so glad that we changed our booking from the upstairs Bistro at the Golf Club to Salt & Spencer for our final dinner in Mollymook with new friends. The menu catered for all and the added specials ensured that we had a great choice of dishes. The service was impeccable, especially Josi, who made sure everything was fine. What a delightful lady. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
