    Mussels were excellent. I ordered tar tar flavor was horrible but everyone else enjoyed their sandwiches. Slow service but kind staff.

    We have always counted on attentive service and knowledgeable waitstaff when we eat at Salt and Stone. This time, the service was disjointed - we were provided courses with no eating utensils, coffee with no sugar - plates were removed randomly, and our original server was patronizing. On the plus side, the menu choices were wonderful! We will be back - we are going to assume that it got a little crazy in the kitchen on a Saturday evening!

    Everything was fabulous, the food, wine and service. The only issue we had (we sat outside), was the tiny flies that wanted to swim in our wine glasses. Not the fault of ownership, but a bit annoying. My husband had a fresh Dungeness crab salad which had an enormous amount of crab. This has always been a favorite place of ours!

    We had a wonderful lunch. Dave, our server, was delightful and attentive. Four of us dined. Two chicken Caesar salads, French onion soup and one Shanghai salad and the steak tacos Special, plus an order of truffle fries. We loved that the chicken Caesar was chopped up nicely in bite-size pieces and very fresh, as was the Shanghai chicken salad. Everything was delicious, as always, and we will continue to come back
