   Our waitress was fantastic. The light over the table kept dimming then would get brighter so that was a little nauseating but in all wonderful lunch.

   Steak was pretty bland and came to the table cool. Salad had been in fridge too long as it had ice crystals in it.

   There were definitely problems in the kitchen - crab cakes came out barely warm, our steaks were raw and were sent back. Bar service was slow and very confused - told I couldn’t get a 9 oz pour of wine only 6 oz then reversed that info then it still took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Things were corrected, food was good Not our first time there but this was our first time with so many issues We will be back - hopefully things will be better

   We booked a table on the patio w the request not to be too close to the music. We were told the only table outside was close but singer wouldn’t be singing for another 30 minutes. We decided to go ahead & take the table. BIG mistake. It took about 10 minutes & the singer proceeded to sing extremely loudly throughout our entire dinner. The patio is not a bar & we do not sit out there to be sung at! We sit outside to enjoy the nice weather & some music -My husband & I could not have a conversation & the waitstaff struggled to make themselves heard. Ridiculous! We could not wait to finish our meal & get out of there. Luckily our friends we’d invited couldn’t come. How awful to go out to dinner & not be able to have a decent conversation at your own table. Our waitress said they’d complained and the mgr had also given the singer a signal to tone it down. Message obviously did not get through. We generally enjoy eating in our own neighborhood & at SaltGrass, but this was ridiculous! The manager needed to step in & do his/her job! Your staff & patrons are counting on that.

   Restaurant nice old rustic style, service was good. They r noted for steaks, but for value, size and taste I have had better. The other food sides great and tasty.

   Salmon with green beans….what was the salty, spicy dry ingredient all over everything? Dry fish….needed a sauce, not a hot spice.

   Food was good services wasn’t that great. Our waiter literally only checked on us twice. I had to ask were our appetizer was.
