   Amazing food and service from Ruby. Went Christmas Day and it was fabulous. Sunday lunch is outstanding

   Our first visit of 2025, everyone and everything was absolutely amazing, we try and visit the salute (at the white swan) at least once a month, such a warm and welcoming atmosphere always approached with a smile, the service and quality of the staff and the food is sublime, a special thanks to Evie who welcomed us both with her lovely smile and genuine presence she absolutely made our night , a lovely lady , the salute should be so proud to have her. Thanks Evie once again, will definitely be back soon to enjoy your special attention, the atmosphere, and the delicious tasting food.

   Lovely food as always just didn’t appreciate who we believe to be the manager to approach us to say we have other people waiting for this table so I’m getting your bill. There was no prior warning that the table was needed or people were waiting we’d just finished our dessert. We then spent another 10 minutes having to wait at the bar to pay our bill as was just getting ignored and glared at by the people waiting for the table. Finally a lovely lady helped us and apologised. Advised she would also feed it back as we should advised even if was a 10 minute warning that table was needed not just thrown off it

   Me and my partner very rarely get to go on a date night but got recommended here and didn't disappoint. Got there early but was ready to be seated. All staff were very nice and polite. Food came quick and drinks did too. Everybody was very polite. The food was outstanding also. Would highly recommend and me and my partner will definitely be coming again.

    Always an enjoyable meal at Salute and food is nice, I only mark it down a little as food is nice but not exceptional and I always find it slightly overpriced for both food and drink, having said that these things would stop me visiting again
