   Not the same experience as previous visits. The server acknowledged she was new, but the service was very slow. My food was warm when served.

   Went there for my birthday. No acknowledgement from ANY staff member. We reminded them twice. Service was very inconsistent. Two of us ordered a drink, beer and a margarita. Beer came out quick but Marg took almost 10 minutes after the beer. Two bartenders behind the bar and not busy. Chatting with the servers. No patrons at the bar. Ordered apps and entrees - took almost 30 minutes to get entrees after we had finished app. Brought out 3 plates (2 at once, then another about 5 minutes later). Mine took about 15 minutes to come out - rest of the table was almost done. Complained to manager and also told him it was my birthday since no one had acknowledged the fact. He said, "Oh thanks for letting me know, we'll take care of you". - didn't give me a choice just brought out a Soggy Tiramisu. I got the bill, and they did nothing for the horrible service. When I asked the manager because I thought he was at least comping an app he said," you got a free dessert - that's what you're getting!!". IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY!!! Don't most restaurant's comp a dessert when celebrating a Bday? Will never go back but I'm sure they don't care.

   We had a very nice dinner where Andy took care of us and the wine list was robust, especially for a smaller restaurant and the food was very tasty.

   I made a reservation with open table about two weeks in advance for Mother’s Day. I confirmed the reservation 24 hours out through a text message from open table. When we showed up on time for our reservation the restaurant had no record of our reservation. The host insisted on seeing the text confirmation and insisted that we made the reservation at the wrong location. I clicked into the confirmation to prove we were at the correct location. The host said “I’m not going to blame you, but we don’t have your reservation.” Even with my text message proof he was blaming open table and saying they were “not part of the restaurant”. But sir, you contract with them to make your reservations?? They ended up sitting us outside on their patio after we waited about 30 minutes, but no one ever apologized for the confusion or did anything to try and make our experience better. The food was good, the service was fine during dinner. The patio chairs were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I saw several other customers at patio tables change out the patio chairs for inside chairs. Overall, just disappointing. We probably won’t be back after this experience.

    The food is amazing and the wine selection is great the cocktails are great. This place is a hidden gem for Frisco .
