   This was our second visit to Sam and Luca and we really enjoyed our meal. The ambiance is very nice and the food is delicious. We love the bread (light and chewy) and also their caesar salad. My husband had the short rib with risotto and I had one of the nightly specials: butternut squash ravioli in a browned butter sauce. The noise level is not super quiet, but definitely low enough to have a conversation. Our server was very kind and attentive. We finished our meal with the salted caramel gelato.

   Outstanding food & service! We tried the Happy Hour special of Pizza, 2 Caesar Salads& 2 glasses of wine One of best pizzas we have had since we left Italy. Also tried the Meatballs, they did not disappoint. Will def be back for pasta next time. Highly recommend! Relaxing atmosphere with lovely decor. Do not pass them by!

   Always a great meal and phenomenal service. Had family visiting and wanted to bring them to our fav lil Italian bistro. They were impressed. Spicy sausage rigatoni, shrimp scampi, short rib , chicken Alfredo and bolognese were ordered and everything was spectacular. We will definitely return as this is our go to spot !!

   PROs—very good service, attentive and proactive, they took seriously that two in our party of 4 had dietary restrictions. Food was tasty and portions were about right. Not too noisy, inside temp was comfortable. CONs—nothing really important tho would like to see a few more light choices and sparkling wine other than prosecco on offer.

   Have been before and was better. This was Mother’s Day and took my 87 year old mom and family. 6 total for dinner. They were out of some of the good specials and calamari. There was some little 2 year old screaming and crawling all over the table next to where they were sitting at. If you were a manager of a restaurant especially on a holiday you would have told them to control there kid especially when paying 300 for dinner. The lasagna tasted like propane like they melted the cheese with a torch. I had chicken parm which was great no complaints and their homemade bread was fantastic. My mom had the shrimp scampi and just thought it was ok. Anyway for Mother’s Day could have been a better experience for the cost. Will give them another try but will be a while. The bartender and staff were good.
