   My wife and I recently visited San Juan Leñero Asador - Mazatlan to celebrate our anniversary, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. While the ambiance and setting were nice, the food didn’t quite live up to our expectations. Everything was overly salted, which took away from the flavor of the dishes we tried. It’s disappointing when the seasoning detracts so much from the meal, especially at a place that should be known for its steak. The service was also lacking; our waiter hardly checked in with us throughout the evening. I even had to flag down a manager just to ask for more water, which felt unnecessary for a place that should provide attentive service. When we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, we received nothing more than a quick acknowledgment — no special gesture, no extra touch to make the evening feel more memorable. Given the price and reputation of this place, we expected a much more refined experience. While the food and service certainly could have been better, we appreciate that the restaurant did try to make us feel welcome. However, for a special occasion, we were hoping for more attention to detail and a more enjoyable dining experience.

   Es lo primera vez que asisto, me lo recomendaron y nos gustó mucho, comida, atención, servicio, agradable lugar. Hice una invitación a mi esposa para festejar su cumpleaños y quedamos muy contentos. Los felicito.

   They messed up our lamb order. Instead of medium well it was rare. They took it back to recook. They had cut up the rack. It was now medium. The lamb was still uncooked and hard. Otherwise good service. Difficult to communicate if you don’t know Spanish.
