   The risotto was great not sure why is a starter. We ordered 4 pastas pesto,short rib, shrimp scampi and ravioli. All good and drinks too

Risotto definitely catches some guests off guard as a starter — it’s a traditional first course in Italian dining, but we totally get that it eats a little heavier.    I had dinner with my husband and some friends last night. Everything was delicious! Jose was our waitstaff, wonderful service! His suggestions were right on! The portions plentiful, served hot and Delicious! We dined on eggplant, calamari, short rib ragu and garlic bread. We were too full to have dessert. We will definitely return to San Marzano

   Love this restaurant! Great ambiance and delicious food - fresh pasta, bread - burrata appetizer and meatball appetizer are wonderful as well as the pasta with sausage and kale and bolognese

    Some of the best if not the best pasta I have had in Dallas. My wife got the gluten free pasta and she said it was also some of the best she has ever had. We will definitely be coming back.
