   My husband and I were able to get a last minute reservation during our stay in the area. This was absolutely our best meal and service during our stay in Condado. We sat at the bar, and had wonderful service from Jonathan. Jonathan and his team made delicious drinks, and Jonathan gave us great recommendations for food. I highly recommend the ahi tuna pintxos, pastelón and the Nutella sandwich.

   Recommended by a friend, this was an excellent dinner and experience! Service is outstanding and friendly. We ate at the bar (no tables available) and had a wonderful meal.

   We enjoyed the watermelon goat cheese salad - very fresh and dressed with balsamic vinegar and pine nut. We then ordered the Sea Bass which was cook d to perfection! We also ordered the cauliflower dish and it was florets roasted (not fried!) and seasoned with cheese and pomegranates. Divine. To top it off, we had the warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream which house made and delicious! Highly recommend considering Santaella for your next luxury dinner.

   Santaella is always fun, exciting, excellent service, and spectacular food. I have been going consistently for 10 years for lunch and dinner.

   You can absolutely tell what your experience is going to be as soon as you walk in the doors of Santaella. From the atmosphere full of patrons appreciative of amazing cultural cuisine to the warm welcome felt by all the staff, it was as if the sole purpose of being being there was to be catered to by uncle José. Literally every server in our vicinity checked on us as if they were our actual waiter. Community unmatched. And as if that wasn’t pleasantly overwhelming enough, the food and cocktails were inexplicably delicious. Chef Santaella was also gracious enough to come to our table because not expressing gratitude was absolutely not an option. If you are ever in San Juan, Santaella is an absolute must!!!!

   The best restaurant on Puerto Rico! The food is incredible, the atmosphere and service is great. This is the second time I’ve been there an they never disappoint.

   Wow, the food did not disappoint. We ordered the empanadas which were made of guava and cheese. Delicious. Then ordered the fish tacos which was made with grouper over chipotle slaw. It was outstanding. The fish was cooked just right and the flavor was plentiful. The waiter was friendly and prompt with our order. The only other thing worth mentioning is that the temperature in the restaurant was 66* and chilly. Which caused us to rush our dinner. I would go back.

    The tuna app was amazing! The steak with chimichurri sauce was cooked to perfection. Don’t skip the banana caramel sundae!!!
