   It was Valentines Day and they ran a tight ship!! We were sat right by the kitchen door upstairs and it did continuously slam against the wall inches from my date and had her on edge the whole night. Other than that, service, food and ambiance were perfect for a romantic date!!

   Informed my waitress I had a nut allergy and food was brought out with nuts on it. Was not offered any restitution for their big mistake.

   We had a wonderful night here for my Mom’s birthday! It was Valentine’s Day, so they were super busy, but the service was great and we did not feel rushed at all. All of our meals were delicious, and they brought my mom a lovely birthday dessert.

   I had a salad with grilled chicken. It was terrible. The chicken was very over cooked. I ate very little of it.

   The service and food at Sapori Trattoria is always amazing. I'm not sure that the restaurant deal was the best deal; ceasar salad, branzino piccata, and panna cotta all for $60. I did the math and realize this did not actually save me any money. My mistake, however the food was still good.

   Service and value were not good. They took our bread plate and bread as I was still eating it. We got the bottle of wine after our first course. The initial sorbet ordered was half melted. The chocolate sorbet tasted like mousse, the raspberry sorbet tasted like sherbert. And the $60 restaurant week price fixed menu was more expensive than if we ordered the same things off the regular menu. It was very loud and difficult to see. The main mourses and salads were good. We've been there many times but we're so disappointed we likely won't come back again.

   Food, service, and vibes were all excellent. Olivia was a wonderful server who provided perfect suggestions and swift, smiley service. Incredibly fresh tomatoes on the bruschetta, absolutely to die for deliciousness in both our rigatoni bolognese and seafood pasta dishes, and we split the s’mores crème brûlée and tiramisu for dessert, both of which were flawless! Upstairs for seating is a bit tight and loud but that’s expected on a Saturday night during Chicago restaurant week (we ordered from the regular menu). Will definitely return!

    Sapori Trattoria provided great service from the moment we walked in the door. Their cocktails were solid, good glassware and the cocktail inside of them. Shared two antipasti’s including Calabrian Clams (the best thing I ate all night, and the Burrata platter. The prosciutto was perfect, as were the lesser items, but the burrata was definitely a bit subpar. Not bad by any means, but maybe the weakest link. We split an Insalata Rustica four ways and there was plenty. My friend had the bucatini carbonara which was delicious but nearly too rich if that’s possible. I had the lasagna, and couldn’t finish even half of it. The gals split the Pasta Contadino. Neither of them finished a half order. A bonus was that they had a list of about 20 wines for half price. Overall a very nice experience.
