   Beautiful ambiance and truly delicious food and presentation! We especially enjoyed the personal service by the manager, Greg, and his connection with us. My husband works in the industry and he said that the sea bass was the best he’s ever tasted! Bravo!

   Drinks were excellent. Ribeye steak was a good size and flavor was pretty good, but it was a bit tough. Lobster tail was marinated in citrus and it was good but not great. Drinks, service, ambiance (outside with heaters), and dog friendly policy will keep us coming back.

   Sapphire location was lovely as was the view of the Pacific Ocean. Our waiter was attentive and kind and we enjoyed him. The champagne was also good - something special for Valentines Day. Unfortunately my dinner was less than desirable. I ordered the schnitzel which I was unable to eat. I have had schnitzel many times in my life and have never had it so dry and tough. I only took a few bites and took the rest home which I have since thrown away. I don't know what they did to it, but it was terrible. I would have sent it back but because it was Valentines Day, I didn't want to create a scene. My husband had the salad with the salmon added and said that it was lacking in flavor. The salmon needed a more robust glaze and the salad dressing needed more flavor. I'm not sure what the other dishes are like since this was my only time eating there.

   Overall this place is always a grand slam. As people who live out of town and frequent the restaurant it is always a good experience. We made reservations to dine for Valentine’s which did not disappoint. My only gripe if you will came down to the daily specials, we asked our waiter what the daily specials were knowing they are usually amazing. When asking for the items, we also inquired about price of course as that ultimately lies on the decision whether to venture off the normal menu if the value is there. The special was a filet and lobster tail.. we asked the price, our waiter said he believed it was $82. Seemed fair considering the ribeye on the menu was $62. Upon receiving our bill, we were shocked to find the special was actually $115. Considering the smaller steak paired with the lobster tale the value just didn’t match the pricing and had our waiter been consistent with the pricing when ordering it would have changed the outcome of my bill. Overall a little disappointed in the value, but definitely not the food itself or the ambience.

   Walking into this location and seeing all the 5 stars we were so excited. Once we got our food it looked as good as we hoped but then the taste was very average. Service was slower than expected and again the food visuals were wonderful and we wish the taste was on that level.

    We came for a gals dinner on a rainy night and the server was thoughtful and paced everything well. The food was delicious I have been to Sapphire at least a dozen times, and each one felt like a special experience.
