   Always the best. We typically go for the pasta dishes as they are spectacular and cooked to perfection. If you want authentic Italian I highly recommend

   This was our third visit to Sasso & thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Was quite busy for a Monday night but we were served in a timely manner & nothing was too much trouble. We have the Arancini balls - lovely & CRISP!! Followed by Rigatoni Amatriciana & Spaghetti Allo Scoglio followed by Tiramisu to share. Wines also lovely. We went for the Italian prossecco followed by a lovely Chianti. Will be back 🫶

   The service is 10/10 - absolutely outstanding. The staff were very attentive. We ordered the negroni and a mocktail nogroni - both were fantastic. The handcut ice was a nice touch. It's a lovely cozy trattoria - great location and great staff. The food was a letdown. For starters we ordered calamari, which was nothing special. It wasn't bad, there was just too much batter. It felt like eating fast-food rather than something restaurant quality. For the main we ordered a pizza. It had a soggy centre. It was tasty, but you couldn't hold a slice because it was soupy in the middle. The dessert was the house tiramisu. It was good size serving. Elegantly cut. Looked fantastic. The chocolate used was superb. It was very light and fluffy, that it seemed like whipped air rather than mascarpone. Overall - it's a lovely place. The food could be improved.

   Outstanding! The food was next level, beautifully presented and tasted amazing! Service was fabulous, with staff happy, friendly and very helpful. As a Negroni over I was astounded by the negroni drinks menu, so much fun to try something new. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we will certainly be back again.

   A wonderful night to celebrate a birthday. Staff, food and atmosphere all great. We enjoyed the set menu for our large group and all was delightful and plenty to go around. Staff could not have been more friendly. Definitely recommend.

    Fabulous Italian restaurant and one of my favourites. Service was excellent and waiters were really helpful when asking questions about the dishes. Great for date nights or the family or catching up with friends. Pizzas are great value as you can easily share between two and add delicious starters to top you up. Verandah dining is great but there are tables inside for hotter evenings.
