marinara sauce was too strong, it needed more time to dilute overall taste mid. the food felt homemade

Won’t go back. Went there two years ago and had a much better experience. Our group of 7 was seated in the back next to a window. It was very cold and even with an old space heater adjacent to the table, it didn’t help much. Why would any host place a party of 7 next to a cold window when the restaurant was fairly slow? The food was ok but a little pricey for the lack of ambiance. The restaurant needs updated and is showing its age. Our waitress was from Romania and was extremely nice and did a good job waiting on us.

Food was good, Brussels sprouts excellent! Our waitress seemed very inexperienced, didn't know to let us taste the wine, she just poured it in the glasses. But she was also very rushed; restaurant may have been understaffed for a moderately busy Tuesday night.

Sauce on the Creek is a great restaurant. Good, traditional Italian food with innovative twists. It is a good vibe when you enter and the ambience is excellent. The owner and waitstaff are kind and extremely welcoming. They do a nice job with cocktails as well.

The food is very good. Menu has a lot of variety so everyone should be happy. We had both pizza and several pasta dishes and they were all delicious. The service was decent but they were very busy and it was Christmas Eve so I think everyone was stretched. Pricing is consistent with the Vail area. Would definitely come back again.
