   Even though we had reservations and the place didn’t seem super busy, it took about 10 minutes to get seated. The waitstaff also took awhile to circle back frequently enough, and I didn’t receive my second drink until after we had finished our meal. That said, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was very nice (with the exception of a lady with an obnoxiously loud and frequent laugh sitting nearby).

   OMG. Get in here! The shrimp was tender and flavorful and grits were creamy. Lived the whole vibe and the service impeccable.

   The food was amazing! Our server and all the staff were pleasant, but very slow and not super attentive. (We were probably there 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged we were there and brought water.) Luckily we were not in a rush so it was not that big of a deal. A 19% gratuity was added automatically. We normally tip 20% but it’s annoying for automatic gratuity for a table of two. The food was so good, and the staff was pleasant so we will go again, but not if we have anytime type of time restriction.

   I really enjoyed my experience at Savannah Blue once I got over climbing two flights of stairs to reach the restaurant. The food came out in a timely manner and everything I tasted was good. The staff were friendly and inviting. I only regret t going so close to Thanksgiving, only because, I didn’t want to chose too many items that I was going to eat for that day.

   Service and food were top tier. Our table shared the mac-n-cheese, catfish fritters, collard greens and kale caesar salad with grilled shrimp. Food was seasoned exceptionally well. Came out fresh and hot. Absolutely delish! I will say, the sweet potato cheesecake missed the mark. It lacked flavor. I’ve had the shrimp -n-grits in the past, also delish. Service is top notch as well. A definite place to add to your dining rotation. Job well done, Savannah Blue!

   We drove over 7 hours to dine here, because it is phenomenal! Absolutely everything is lovely from being greeted at the street, the hostess showed kindness to servers attentiveness. The three appetizers were delicious followed by three mouthwatering entrees. The crab cakes were worth the long drive alone. The adorable corn bread muffins and hummus were awesome. The shrimp & grits were incredible. The ox tail and salmon were so good. The portions were huge. It was very hard to enjoy dessert but we did it because it was fantastic. This dining experience is one to remember and wish to repeat again. Thank you for a very special dinner.

   Wow is all I can say. Been multiple times. But last night tasted like my Grandma was in the kitchen. Chicken for me and catfish for the wife. Came out fresh and hot with lots of flavor.

    The mood lighting was such that I could not appreciate the visual presentation of that amazing meal. Please consider adding an LED over-head bulb to put shine on the table such that the experience can be highlighted and not dim! It is dark in the dining room…much lighter in the bar area.
