The service was amazing. Quick and attentive. From appetizers, drinks, and meal everyone was on top of it. Our waitress spoke English and Spanish which was nice, and she explained their specialties and provided great suggestions on drinks. Two reasons why I did not give more stars, the food needed more flavor, the Salsas that came with the meals were way too spicy, and it was a bit pricey. I would give it another try, maybe try some different dishes.

Delicious frozen mango margarita accompanied by nicely flavored salsa (a hint of poblano?) and chips to start. Very nice corn tacos with steak, al pastor/pork, and nopalito (cactus) $7 each. The Tlayudo (new to us) looked great but was bland and difficult to serve up: the mix of avocado, chorizo bits, and slivers of cheese was a very thin topping. Polite server and family atmosphere. Definitely not spicy food.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. They have unique items on their menu you won’t find anywhere else. Excellent service. My new favorite place to eat.

My wife and I really enjoyed our date night at Sayulita. The food was excellent and the service was terrific. It was a bit hard to find, but well worth search. Just watch out for that habanero sauce! It’s very good, but incredibly spicy. We will definitely be coming back.
