   As usual food was fantastic! Love the renovations and addition of a small bar. The patio is going to be awesome to experience in the spring/fall. And I have to say the presentation of the brownie sundae for desert is not to be missed… sorry I didn’t capture it on video… spectacular!

   5 stars across the board! The moment you walk in your hit with the host and bartender greeting, amazing color scheme and decor…love the fresh flowers on the tables adds a nice freshness before you get in the amazing food. An intimate dining experience, I absolutely love how the owner Tyler table touches almost every table… you don’t see a lot of restaurant owners be so involved in their business and I love to see it! For food we tried out the sous chefs prefix menu tonight amazing cajun style food bringing some New Orleans authenticity to KC! Had some candied bacon dates from the regular menu rich, sweet, creamy, with a nice vinaigrette arugula salad to cleanse the palate! Can’t wait to come back and dine on some more of those regular menu items. Such a gem in the Prairie Village area!

   Wonderful experience! Everything we ordered was delicious. I think the duck gnocchi was especially good. The pastas are light and delicate. We had the chocolate brownie with caramel ice cream and it was spectacular as well. There is a chocolate domed shell over it and they pour hot chocolate over the shell the reveal your dessert! So fun!

   Very underwhelming. Food not seasoned well and relatively uninspired. Not good value for money. Enjoyed seating and atmosphere and staff.

   Scratch Gourmet Kitchen continues to impress! From the incredible Valentine’s Day menu to the outstanding service, every detail was top-notch. The food was perfectly executed, with a fantastic selection that made it impossible to choose just one favorite—so I tried everything, and it did not disappoint. Tyler and his team create an atmosphere that feels both elevated and welcoming, making every visit a great experience. Highly recommend for a date night or any occasion where you want truly exceptional food and service!

   $120 a piece for valentines prefix. $240 total. Tiny lobster that was cold with no drawn butter. Completely hard potatoes. A salad with goat cheese and vinegrrtte. Very much not worth the price unfortunately. Also we ordered sparkling water. It was completely flat. I kindly let the server know and she said “well the bartender says we have one bottle and that there’s no way it’s flat so…” haha.

    Dinner and service were equally fantastic. We dined on Valentines which offered a set 4 course menu. Drinks were spot on. This is an intimate space and it strikes the right balance with high quality food and attention to detail service without being stuffy or overly formal. The staff including owner, Tyler are highly personable and attentive. We can’t wait to go back for dinner and plan to enjoy the large patio area when it warms up.
