   Our server was very attentive. Food was reasonably priced and tasty. I had the fish and chips and I was worried that the batter was going to be too much, but it was not and it was perfectly battered. My husband had the jalapeño burger and he said that it was delicious. Our aunt had the fish tacos and they looked good too. Overall, I highly recommend if you’re trying to find a place to dine on the Santa Monica Pier. Sit on the 2nd floor outside so you can have a good view of the ocean and also people watch.

   We had to send margaritas back, seemed like they were glasses of lime juice. They tried to fixed them and they were only a bit better. The food wasn’t too good either, but our server was very sweet at least.

   The food is not good. Like, bad airport food or a poorly run Chili’s. But the view from the roof is incredible. The service was problematic but not terrible. But the view from the roof remains incredible.

   Nice cozy place by the sea, however service could have been better if servers could check the tables often. Food was mediocre, not so great not so bad. Will try again.

   Three of us had a 2 pm lunch reservation on a Wednesday in the rooftop seating area at the restaurant. We were seated right away although we had arrived 10-15 minutes early! The view from the rooftop was magnificent! I had the Citrus Kale Salad with salmon added. The others in my party had the fish tacos and the salmon with vegetables. The server (a gentleman with salt & pepper hair, don't recall his name) was incredibly accommodating with our questions regarding ingredients in the dishes and suggested substitutions (two of us have food sensitivities). We all liked our food; pricing seemed reasonable for the amount of food we got. We loved the rooftop seating and view. The ambiance was wonderful. We were lucky enough to be there on a gorgeous, breezy day in July. The only minor thing was how long we waited for the check. Another server told us we could go up to the bar to pay which we didn't know (or hadn't heard our server say). The hurry was that two of us had flown in on business that morning and were flying back out that same night. We wanted to maximize our time after eating so we could walk the pier, go down to the beach & water, and make it back to the airport on time in LA traffic. We did manage to do it all, although getting back to the airport in time to catch the flight was a nail-biter. (We got the car turned in, paying extra for them to fill the tank, caught the shuttle to the airport, cleared security, and got to our gate as the flight was boarding.) All in all, it was a wonderful experience. I will definitely go back to Seaside on the Pier if I'm in Santa Monica again.

   We had a reservation, however we were informed that it was noisy on the upper deck and there was no availability. We were told that we could sit downstairs either inside or outside, so we chose outside. We were left to seat ourselves. After sitting for awhile with no acknowledgement, we went to find someone to ask for menus. After that the service was somewhat better. Food potions were very small, but good. I wouldn’t return.

    We were visiting LA and wanted to eat in Santa Monica with an unobstructed view. If that’s your goal, then this is your go-to place.
